Fish stocking in Marston Pit 2016

The club has taken delivery of 36 new carp from Viv at VS fisheries, they were put into Marston Pit two weeks ago.

The club is committed to securing the long term future of Marston Pit and after extensive research decided to purchase from the best fish stockist’s in the country.

All the fish have easily identifiable markings and a full mix from common to mirror’s with lovely scale markings on most fish.

The fish all ranged from the smallest at 7 lb up to the largest at 10 lb. They are 3 to 4 yr old  C4’s  mirrors and commons, one with a blue tinge so hopefully they will  reach the 20 to 25lb mark. As you  can see from the pictures they are stunning fish. Thanks to Bob Jones , Dave Russell, Ian Colyer and Dick Ward for helping to take delivery on a very wet day .

Each fish is pictured both sides and are in order from 1 to 36 as is the list which starts fish 1 at top and so on

Please inform the club if you catch any of these fish with weights and pics if possible then we can monitor their progress, thanks from the committee.
