With all the bad weather you would think that the fishing would turn bad......! Why not visit our lakes?

On the 18th January, 100 Mirror carp were stocked into Brogborough Pit and 50 Mirror Carp went into Marston. The Carp were supplied by Priory Fisheries in Devon and are all English fish. Where they have been stocked in other waters in the country they have reached up to 46lb! So let me know how they grow.

The Res; Fishing very well for Carp and some of the big Perch showing. I fished over the Christmas break and had 35 Carp up to 6lb from peg 2 on double dead maggot. The warm weather will mean the Carp will be feeding all over.

Marston Pit - l have reports of Pike up to 15lb

On the river, roach nets of nearly 10lb and a lot of bream and carp have been showing on the feeder in nets of over 50lb. Best pegs 17 to 25. When the river goes down a lot of these fish will feed as long as it holds colour.

Spring tickets go on sale from 14th March - adult price £25. Senior citizen and juniors £18.

Any news please email me and l will add to the site.
